It is a courtship dance originally performed only by men and dating back to the early twentieth century: physically demanding, almost acrobatic, it requires the dancers to hug each other, spin as they bend on their knees almost to the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The work was carried out in collaboration with Giancarlo Stagni, a Filuzziani dance master who revived this ancient tradition thanks to the rediscovery and study of some documentation videos dating back to the sixties. Sciarroni discovered this dance in December 2018, when in Italy it was now only practiced by five people.
