But there is no surprise that Parmigiano Reggiano is #1.<\/p><p><em>TasteAtlas<\/em> recently released their list of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasteatlas.com\/best-rated-cheeses-in-the-world\">Best Rated Cheese in the World<\/a> and proved once again that the beloved Italian delicacy was ranked top of the list.<\/p><p>Human labour, a thousand years of history, traditions, and a cherished and protected land come together to produce an inimitable cheese. The naturally lactose-free cheese is the ultimate versatile food. It can be grated into soups; shaved onto classic and modern pasta dishes or enjoyed in a simple pairing. Add to that,&nbsp;if you save the&nbsp;rinds, they act as flavour bombs to enhance your meals.<\/p><p>A recent survey showed that over 60 per cent of Canadians are choosing cheese as their go-to comfort food classics like bread, pasta, pizza and burgers.
