Italy 24 Press News –<\/em><\/strong> On September 6, Sylvester Stallone, together with his brother Frank, was welcomed by a huge crowd in Gioia del Colle, in the province of Bari, as he received the honorary citizenship of his father\u2019s birthplace.<\/p>

The actor arrived in the Apulian town accompanied by his wife Jennifer Flavin and their three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet. To welcome him, as per the explicit request of the Stallone brothers, two hymns: the Italian one and the American one.<\/p>

\u201cI am so proud to be part of such a beautiful and strong population. One hundred years ago my father left this city, but he used to work here and this is the key to his barber shop,\u201d said the Hollywood star from the stage, showing the heirloom to the citizens of Gioia del Colle.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>

Doing the honors is the mayor Giovanni Mastrangelo, who asks the two brothers to be ambassadors of Gioia del Colle, \u00abthe city with the best mozzarella in the world\u00bb.<\/p>
