But since we can\u2019t all afford a vacation abroad every time we crave a saucy meatball panino, we do the second best thing. Visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/nonnascucinayvr\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nonna\u2019s Cucina<\/a>\u00a0for mouthwatering Italian food right here in Vancouver.<\/p><p>Yes, it is the same food truck that started serving drool-worthy Italian street food at Port Moody in 2021. Only now they have a brick-and-mortar location at Hastings Street that opened its doors to the public in April last year.<\/p><p>With this new restaurant, Nonna\u2019s Cucina continues to offer the same authentic flavours, home recipes and incredible taste. It\u2019s no wonder they\u2019ve garnered somewhat of a fan following.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/curiocity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Curiocity-Blog-Images-19.png\" alt=\"Italian food Vancouver\"\/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/nonnascucinayvr\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><sup>Photo via Nonna&#8217;s Cucina<\/sup><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure><p>So, the new restaurant has a similar menu as the food truck only with more options. And thanks to their house-made everything\u2013 pasta, bakes, sauces, gnocchi and more\u2013 Vancouverites continue to obsess over it (guilty!).<\/p><p>By their own admission, they aren\u2019t swerving \u201cfast food,\u201d they are serving \u201cgood food fast.\u201d<\/p><p>Frankly, everything on the menu is worth chowing down.
