Naturally, the family behind St-Viateur Bagel brough some of their bagels to the taping.<\/h3>

Montreal Gazette<\/a><\/strong> – Think of family rivalries. What comes to mind? The Montagues and Capulets, perhaps? Maybe the Hatfields and the McCoys? How about the owners of\u00a0Montreal\u2019s St-Viateur Bagel and \u2026 some people from Ontario?<\/p>

Okay, fine, one of these things is not quite like the others, but it is the setup for Wednesday night\u2019s episode of Family Feud Canada.<\/p>

What these families lack in historic \u2014 or literary \u2014 enmity, they will hopefully make up for in their willingness to guess the answers to survey questions in the presence of comedian Gerry Dee.<\/p>

Also, the Morena family, which has been involved in the bagel business since 1962<\/a>, brought some of their wares to the taping. (Insofar as the show films in Toronto, this may be the first time in ages the city has been graced by a proper bagel.)<\/p>

Without wishing to do the CBC\u2019s job for free, surely this was a missed opportunity to have the Morenas face off against Fairmount Bagel\u2019s Shlafman family. Now that would be a proper family feud.<\/p>
