Presented by the Caisse Populaire Desjardins Canadienne-Italienne, the annual dessert contest will be held on Sunday, August 14th at 3:00 pm, on the secondary Italian-Canadian Community Foundation stage in Little Italy. Got a sweet tooth? Back this year, your taste buds won’t be able to resist tasting a succulent Italian-flavoured dessert.

On the menu this year? A traditional Italian cake! Several bakeries will compete before your eyes, eager to impress a jury specially chosen for the occasion, including: Cousin Vinny, co-host of Virgin Mornings (95.9 Virgin Radio) Frank Cavallaro, host of the Morning Drive Show (105.1 Mike FM) Matthew Giuffrida (Brudder, Martin, Sal), YouTube and social media influencer Nick Messina (Sicilianu Di Montreal), social media influencer. Some lucky members of the audience will also be able to sample some of the tasty treats being judged on stage.
