Pier Paolo Pasolini would have turned 100 this year. From his early writings to his untimely death in 1975, he traced a path and a corpus of works – cinematographic, literary, non-fiction – that have never ceased to fuel reflection, debate and inspire artists and thinkers over the decades. As part of the university symposium PPP / RRR: Pier Paolo Pasolini / Riprese Reprises Retakes, focusing on Pasolini’s contemporary legacy, a cycle of films is scheduled that proposes a dialogue between some of his major films and those of contemporary directors, in the presence of some of them, special guests and researchers.
