Exhibition dedicated to the paintings of Sandra Morellato. Exhibited for the first time at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Montreal with a series of works dedicated to the human figure, the exhibition will be inaugurated on March 23rd at 6pm – RSVP – A vin d’honneur will be served. For the occasion, percussionist Noam Bierstone will perform a musical performance with Tibetan bowls.

“A bit like Bontempelli’s “Minnie la Candida”, Sandra Morellato wanders among the confetti as well as the distortions of an era without dreams with only one and unchanged attitude: the childlike naivety of those who see the world without malice and draw it more and more beautiful and more alive than this appears to us others. It is no coincidence that we must go back to Bontempelli and the beginning of the last century to find a pictorial freshness which, if it is still possible at the time of the first avant-gardes, becomes outdated in the very moment in which painting wants to become cerebral and political.
