The actor arrived in the Apulian town accompanied by his wife Jennifer Flavin and their three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet. To welcome him, as per the explicit request of the Stallone brothers, two hymns: the Italian one and the American one.
“I am so proud to be part of such a beautiful and strong population. One hundred years ago my father left this city, but he used to work here and this is the key to his barber shop,” said the Hollywood star from the stage, showing the heirloom to the citizens of Gioia del Colle.

Doing the honors is the mayor Giovanni Mastrangelo, who asks the two brothers to be ambassadors of Gioia del Colle, «the city with the best mozzarella in the world».
