Roberto Lucanero will perform a repertoire of traditional pieces from the Marche region and south-central Italy. His own compositions will make the link between the different pieces; they are inspired by music of oral tradition while being developed through a contemporary musical language. Some of them have been used as soundtracks and stage music in audiovisual and theatrical productions, mainly dedicated to the Marche territory.

Roberto Lucanero is a musician and ethnomusicologist who plays accordion, diatonic accordion, and portable organ. He has contributed to the discovery of traditional Marche music and teaches diatonic accordion and traditional dance.
