Originally & loosely based on Joseph Conrad’s 1899 novel Heart of Darkness, Francis Ford Coppola’s epic war film is the arrival point of an artistic & spiritual thread that connects Homer’s Odyssey, Dante’s Divine Comedy & Coppola’s Apocalypse Now. The intimate connection between these three masterpieces will be fully explained & revealed, strongly corroborated by literary sources, historical facts, philosophical phenomena & cultural references.
