The Center for Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage “La Venaria Reale” (CCR) will organize on July 1st and 2nd 2021 the second edition of the “Young Professionals Forum, Emerging skills for heritage conservation”, the first important international event aimed at the growth of skills and comparison between professionals in the field of conservation of cultural heritage.

The second edition of this year was conceived as a succession of two intense days of presentations, moments of exchange and debate, where participants will have the opportunity to present their research, experiences and projects, around the four thematic sessions in which the Forum is divided:

1. Ethics and practice of restoration

2. Diagnostics and technologies applied to conservation

3. Museum professions

4. History of the restoration

Each session will host a series of presentations, selected through a call for abstracts that will expire on May 9th, 2021.

Young Professionals Forum is aimed at young professionals by offering a platform for exchange and sharing and stimulating the synergy between restorers, conservators, art historians and scientists at an international level: the goal is to create networks that last over time, to enhance the interdisciplinarity and the experiences of individuals to build a common vision
